GTMaker Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GTMaker handles information when you create, edit, play, sync, share, or generate guitar scores. GTMaker does not sell your personal information.
Information We Handle
- Account information: identifiers used to sign in, and profile details such as a nickname, email address, or avatar when you provide them.
- User-created content: scores, guitar TAB, chords, lyrics, rhythm data, titles, and related files you create, import, sync, or share.
- Purchase information: product and subscription status needed to verify Apple In-App Purchases. GTMaker does not receive your full payment-card details.
- Technical information: app version, device model, iOS version, language, network and request status, crash information, and diagnostic logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- Support information: messages, contact details, screenshots, or other information you choose to provide when requesting help.
On-Device Scores and Cloud Sync
Scores are stored on your device by default. When you enable Cloud Sync, backup, restore, publishing, or sharing, GTMaker sends the data needed for that feature to its servers. Cloud data is associated with your GTMaker account and may be available on your other signed-in devices.
Audio Upload and Remote Processing
Audio is uploaded only when you actively choose the audio-to-guitar-score feature. The selected audio and related job data may be sent to GTMaker servers and remote computing services to analyze the recording and create a downloadable score draft. These services process the data for GTMaker and are not permitted to use it for unrelated purposes.
Source audio is marked eligible for cleanup after a limited recovery period—normally 24 hours after a confirmed import, or about 72 hours after direct completion or a non-retryable failure. Physical deletion can occur later while operational cleanup is completed. Generated review and draft artifacts may carry an expiry period of approximately 30 days. Limited technical records may be kept longer when reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, or abuse prevention. You may request deletion at any time.
How We Use Information
- Provide accounts, score editing, playback, sharing, Cloud Sync, purchases, and audio-to-score processing.
- Restore jobs after interruptions and prevent duplicate processing or imports.
- Diagnose crashes and service failures, improve reliability, and protect accounts and infrastructure.
- Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
Service Providers and Apple
GTMaker may use hosting, storage, remote processing, notification, analytics, and diagnostic service providers. They receive only the information reasonably needed to perform services for GTMaker. Apple processes App Store purchases, subscriptions, and payment details under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy; GTMaker receives transaction and entitlement information needed to verify access.
Data Retention
Local scores remain on your device until you remove them or the app’s data. Account and cloud-synchronized content is retained while needed to provide the service and until deletion is requested, subject to legitimate legal, security, backup, and fraud-prevention requirements. Audio-processing retention is described above. When retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted or de-identified.
Deletion and Account Closure
You can request account deletion from Delete My Account in GTMaker’s account settings. If you cannot access the app, email 419620942@qq.com. A request may require identity verification. Deletion covers the account and associated cloud data, except information that must be retained for legal, security, payment, or fraud-prevention reasons. Files stored only on your device must be removed from that device by you.
Security and International Processing
GTMaker uses reasonable access controls, transport protection, and data-minimization practices. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Information may be processed in countries or regions other than your own, with protections required by applicable law.
Children
GTMaker is not directed primarily to children. If you believe a child provided personal information contrary to applicable law, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where required.
Changes and Contact
This policy may be updated as GTMaker changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. For questions, access requests, corrections, or deletion requests, email 419620942@qq.com.
